Another SLC farmer's market pic. I thought the pumpkin stem kind of looked like some kind of animal - possibly an ancient Egyptian god?? Taken with my Tamron all purpose tele zoom at 110mm, ISO 400, 1/90, f 9.5.

Evening Commute
Taken from through the bus window, my ride home across the Roosevelt Bridge every night. The sun's hitting the Georgetown waterfront as the Potomac River snakes west. Not having to go underground to get home kind of makes my days seem a lot better.

Fall is coming...
These leaves were caught a few days ago on a walk back from the grocery story. Love the golden hue against the green leaves still left on the trees. Nothing is like a New England (or Upstate NY...!) fall, but this brings back the memories.

The New Neighborhood
Alright - getting back to this challenge. You ready, Dad?
I saw this flower late in the afternoon while walking around my new 'hood. Seeing the flowers big and beautiful, while awesome, is a reminder that the season is almost up. There isn't much more growing these guys can do. But it's not all sad - the cycle, and the start of a new season, is definitely a reason to celebrate.
Took this on my iPhone with the Hipstamtic App set to the Johnny filter. Lovin' the contrast and the dark corners.
